Birthdays
What is your refund and cancellation policy for birthday parties?
If you are cancelling because of the “shelter-in-place restrictions please consider a Live-Stream Birthday Party. This new way of celebrating your child’s birthday is fun and interactive and gives your child an opportunity to celebrate with his or her friends!
All parties must be cancelled by calling 615-573-2702 and emailing makesciencefun@mrbondscienceguy.com 72 hours before the start time of the party. Any party canceled 72 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
Parties canceled less than 72 hours in advance will be rescheduled. If the party is canceled less than 72 hours in advance of the party the $60 deposit will be forfeited.
What time will my Science Guy arrive?
Your Science Guy will be in touch the week of your party to discuss all the final details. We ask they arrive 15 minutes before the party begins.

How much are your camps and clubs?
The price varies depending on whether the camp is a full day, half day, week long or daily option. We also work with various organizations and schools who set their own price for each camp or club. The registration link will take you to a page with information about pricing.
How do coupon codes work?
Only one coupon code is allowed per transaction. If you are using a sibling/friend discount code it is for your 2nd and 3rd child only. The first child will pay full price. If you are using an Early Bird discount code or any other discount code you cannot also use the sibling discount and vice-versa.
Will my child be outside?
Our camps and clubs are held primarily indoors. Sometimes we take short breaks or do an experiment outdoors but never for an extended period of time.
Do you supply snacks?
Mr. Bond’s Science Guys do not supply snacks. We allow for water breaks and snacks breaks if parents wish to send snacks and drinks with their children. Please NO NUTS to avoid any issues with allergies.
What ages are your Camps and Clubs for?
The majority of our Science camps and clubs are for ages 5 to 10. We sometimes hold specialty camps and clubs for Pre K, Middle or High School when requested by a host location. Information about age ranges can be found on the registration pages for the specific club or camp you are signing up for.
My child will be 5 in a few months, can they attend?
We have made it our policy to only allow children who are 5 years old the day camp starts. We sometimes offer camps for Pre K only (ages 4 & 5) so check the registration page or contact us!
What payment methods do you accept?
The schools or organizations we partner with accept most major credit cards. If you are interested in a camp hosted by Mr. Bond’s Science Guys, we may be able accept checks. You must contact us directly a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the first day of camp or club to pay by check. Otherwise if Mr. Bond’s Science Guys is hosting the camp or club and we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners and JCB.
How large are the camps or clubs?
For After School Clubs we usually stop registration at 15 - 20 kids depending on the location and participants. For Camps we usually have 20-25 kids and have a leader and assistant present. At our busy locations we try to cap it at 30-40 kids maximum then split them up into groups and send multiple leaders and assistants. Our student to leader ration is 10:1 and camps with more kids include an assistant. Most camps and clubs require a minimum of 10 participants to hold the program.
Does Mr. Bond’s Science Camps accept children with special needs?
We do not have a program specifically for kids with special needs. Under some circumstances, we can accommodate some special needs. Please contact us with details about your child and we will do our best to support your child. If your child is not able to fully participate in our program, unfortunately, we will need to send your child home.
Who are the Science Guys?
The Science Guys are “edutainers” who love children and science! Our club and camp instructors are trained for the experiments they will be conducting, as well as educated and experienced on how to handle the materials safely. Mr Bond’s Science Guys conducts background checks on all instructors prior to being assigned to our programs.
Where are your camps and clubs held?
You can find a Mr. Bond Science Camp somewhere in Middle TN every summer and usually spring, fall and winter too. Science Clubs are held throughout the school year usually after or during school hours and occasionally on the weekends. You can find a list of all camps here, and a list of clubs here.
What is your refund and/or cancellation policy?
All camp and club cancellations must be received via email to makesciencefun@mrbondscienceguy.com. Mr. Bond’s Science Guys:
Winter/Spring 2020 Club Cancelation Policy
Anyone with a child currently paid and registered in any of our Winter/Spring after-school clubs will receive an email to attend our 8 weekly Tuesday at 3 pm Science Clubs. Monday, Wednesday and Friday Live Streams are also available weekly, free of charge. OR Place the value of your registration on a gift certificate to be used on any Science Guys program- no expiration! OR Donate the value of your registration to support the Science Guys mission to keep science fun, cool, and easy for all kids! Contact Us to donate, receive a gift card or for more information on Science Club make-ups.
Cancellation Policy for agreeing to attend Live Stream Clubs
If the club attendee cannot attend any of the sessions they signed up for they will still receive a YouTube link for the session.
If Mr. Bond's Science Guys have technical difficulties we will reschedule the session.
If the client has technical difficulties no refund or reschedule will be applied.
Summer Camp Cancelation Policy - As of April 10, our summer programming is still scheduled. In the event that Summer Camps 2020 are cancelled due to Covid-19, anyone with a child currently registered in our Summer camps can choose one of the following options:
Place the value of your registration on a gift certificate to be used on any Science Guys program- no expiration!
Attend one of our live-stream summer programs. Details coming soon!
Donate the value of your registration to support the Science Guys mission to keep science fun, cool, and easy for all kids!

What should my child wear to camp or club?
Play clothes or whatever they wear to school regularly with close-toed shoes. Although we spend very little time outside, you are welcome to apply sunscreen and/or insect repellent prior to dropping your child off.
