The Science Guys Spectacular Summer of Science Camps June and July 2016

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 2016) — Mr. Bond and the Science Guys are preparing for another fun-filled summer with a variety of camps across Middle Tennessee.

Mr. Bond (Keith Trehy) currently has summer camps scheduled in West Nashville (M.B.A. and F.R.A.), Bellevue (G.J.C.C.), Mt. Juliet (Charlie Daniel’s Rec Center), East Nashville (Eastwood Christian Church), South Nashville (Faith Church), and Franklin (Battle Ground Academy) with more locations still being added.  Morning or afternoon camps are three hours each, five days a week. Some locations offer a full day option. Registration and information can be found at www.MrBondScienceGuy.com or from the host location websites.

East Nashville based, Mr. Bond and the Science Guys make science fun and interesting for elementary school students with after school clubs and in- school field trips throughout the school year.

Summer vacation allows for more concentrated programs where students focus on one main science theme at each camp. This year’s themes include CSI Nashville, Space, Physics and Environmental camps. CSI-Nashville campers will perform DNA analysis and lift fingerprints. Space camp teaches all about life on a space station. Fun with Physics is the camp where kids discover why things move through explosions, air pressure, gravity, electricity, magnetism, centrifugal force, friction, inertia, momentum and forces of nature. Environmental camp has participants exploring the geology of the world around them by panning for gold, polluting a lake, creating a filter, digging for dinosaurs and making their own T-Rex tooth.
